Pathways into teaching courses
Pathways are study options that usually use your success in a lower discipline to move into a course of a higher discipline, usually in the same area of study.
The table below provides information about potential pathways available for undergraduate Initial Teacher Education (ITE) programs in Victoria for secondary education. Those who wish to teach in classroom must complete an ITE program, which is accredited by the Victorian Insitute of Teaching (VIT). Please note that pathway course entry points may not be covered by the government scholarship initiative.
Your pathway entry point (the course in which you can start to pathway into your desired course) is dependent on your previous experience, so you may be eligible for a different entry point into each course.
