Monash College is the preferred pathway for students aspiring to study at Monash University. We are owned by Monash University, Australia's largest university and 54th in the world.*

Our academic and English language programs prepare you for success at university, building on the skills you have learnt throughout your education further developing the academic and study skills required for Australian tertiary study. The Monash College experience helps you gain confidence in the independent learning and critical thinking styles expected at Monash University.

A Monash College Diploma provides specialised preparation for direct entry into the first or even second year of selected Monash University degrees. Each Diploma has been developed in consultation with Monash University faculties and academic staff to ensure your smooth transition and success. Monash College offers six diplomas in Art and Design, Arts (Sociology, Psychology and Media and Communication streams available), Business (Commerce and Business streams available), Engineering, Information Technology and Science.

If you are interested in a career in education or teaching, you can choose to study an education specialisation as part of your arts, business or science diploma - leading you into an education double degree.

Our Diploma enables you to specialise in the subjects that are most relevant to your chosen field and your destination degree. You will develop skills in critical, analytical and creative thinking and a deep understanding of research techniques. Monash College’s diploma has two parts. Your highest qualifications and results will determine which one you will commence in. Part 1 is for students with an Australian Year 11 qualification (or equivalent). If you complete  part 2, you may be eligible to enter the second year of a relevant Monash University degree.
