For 18 years, SEDA has been delivering sports-integrated learning across the country, giving students the advantage of real-world experience through practical curriculum, work-integrated learning and networking opportunities.
Our one-year, dual diploma, Sport & Business Programs open more pathways to more possibilities - whether it’s a head start to a Bachelor's degree with one of our higher education partners or transitioning directly into a variety of industries, graduates are equipped to take the next step on their career journey.
In Victoria, we are proud to partner with Collingwood Football Club, Melbourne United, Melbourne Victory and Netball Victoria to deliver our Sport & Business Programs.

Hands-on learning
Practical, hands-on learning is at the heart of all our programs. Students are fully immersed in an elite sporting environment, learning through real-world experience, workshops, strategic projects, and work-integrated learning.
Education pathways
SEDA has articulations with over 15 higher education providers across the country meaning graduates have more pathways to higher education through direct entry and course credits. *Please note all tertiary partners and related credits are subject to eligibility requirements and subject to change.
International Study Tours
SEDA offers students the chance to take their learning global as part of our International Study Tours, with behind-the-scenes experiences within leading colleges and sporting organisations. *Costs are additional to course fees
Personalised support
SEDA delivers principally via a one-teacher model, so students get the best of one-on-one mentoring and support throughout the program.
Networking
Our programs are delivered in partnership with industry organisations, giving students the opportunity to build their professional networks in an industry they are passionate about.

Admission criteria
Eligibility Requirements
Please see below the entry requirements for Sport & Business Programs powered by SEDA. Please note that there is no ATAR required.
- Successfully complete a Language, Literacy, Numeracy, and Digital (LLND) test issued by SEDA.
- Provide evidence in support of your application via a Pre-Training Review (PTR) and interview.
- Individuals under the age of 18 must have gained parental/guardian consent to undertake the program.

Education Pathways
Graduates of Sport & Business Programs powered by SEDA can gain direct entry* into a range of courses with leading tertiary education providers.
In some cases, graduates will also receive credit points towards the number of units or subjects a student is required to complete in a course. The number of credits a SEDA graduate can receive per course will vary between each education provider.

Principles of Selection
Please be aware that SEDA Group does not use a process of selection for prospective students.
Applications are processed in the order they are received, and places in the program are filled as offers are accepted.

HLTAID011 Provide First Aid Prerequisite
All students are required to complete and provide their certificate of, HLTAID011 Provide First Aid by the end of Week 4 of Block 1, 2026.
HLTAID011 Provide First Aid will need to be completed with an external provider under a fee-for-service arrangement.

Enrolment
Process to Enrolment
1. Apply online through SEDA Group via the SEDA website.
2. Schedule and complete an LLND test (allow approx. 1 hour) via the link in your application confirmation email.
3. Book your interview and complete your Pre-training Review questionnaire as prompted via email.
4. In your interview, ask about scholarships if you think you may be eligible.
5. Offers will be sent monthly from June for eligible students.
6. Accept your offer via return email and pay the $350 non-tuition fee (non-refundable) to secure your place.
7. Start your online enrolment using the link sent via email and access our Learning Management System, Canvas for further requirements.

All Sport & Business Program students have access to a Student Services Coordinator and our Student Assistance Program (SAP). These can be utilised for personalised career, wellbeing and general support.
Financial assistance
Skills First Funding
In 2025 Sport & Business Programs powered by SEDA based in Victoria aree delivered with Victorian and Commonwealth Government funding for eligible students. Please note that funding for subsequent year/s is subject to Government approval.
This funding includes additional support for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students.

VET Student Loans (VSL)
SEDA is an approved provider of VET Student Loans (VSL) and therefore can offer the scheme to eligible students.
VET Student Loans (VSL) is a loan from the Commonwealth Government, available to assist eligible students studying the BSB50120 Diploma of Business and/or SIS50321 Diploma of Sport with SEDA Group to pay their tuition fees.
You do not have to use a VET Student Loan to pay your tuition fees. You can choose to pay all your tuition fees via an approved payment plan, or you can use a VET Student Loan for the total or partial amount of your tuition fees (eligibility criteria applies).
VET Student Loans can only be used to pay the tuition fees of an approved course.
