Applying for nursing and midwifery courses
How to apply
- Research nursing and midwifery courses through VTAC’s CourseSearch, taking into consideration any essential requirements and admissions criteria.
- Register for a VTAC account on the VTAC website.
- Once you have created a VTAC account and completed your profile, you can apply for courses. Look under the My application heading on your account dashboard.
- Add nursing and midwifery courses to your preference list. Up to eight preferences can be listed and pathway preferences are recommended.
- Once your Course Application has been submitted, you will need to submit the English Language Proficiency Declaration to be considered for nursing and midwifery courses. This is found under the ‘Course requirements’ section on the dashbaord of your VTAC account when logged in, and addresses the English Language Proficiency required for admission.
- Don't forget - submit the English Language Proficiency Declaration and any additional documents that may be required.
- Finally, double check all entry requirements and prerequisites for chosen courses to ensure you will be eligible to be considered for an offer, understanding that each institution may have different requirements.
